Notes: - Before installing Presentation Director, it is required to install Lenovo System Interface Driver and an appropriate display driver for the target system. Refer to the README file of each software package for installing these software packages

- To enable Fn+F7 key function, it is also required to install the following packages:
- Presenter Mode scheme configures the display as an extended desktop setting with Enable presenter view for slide show option.
% h c q1 V0 H5 e6 B+ V3 E- Start Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.! ~9 A& m" P; v$ N- R9 H
The default location is C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PDIRECT - For Windows Vista, click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories then click Run.../ o S. C* K! p$ n) ?8 L
For Windows XP and 2000, click Start, then click Run... - Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
- |. e/ M7 j* z* ~EXAMPLE: C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PDIRECT\SETUP.EXE - Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: This is for system administrators' use only. - Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the files.
- At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -S -SMS options.8 B0 Y4 O. A+ W' S/ C
For example: C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PDIRECT\SETUP.EXE -S -SMS
| Determining which version is installed |
Windows Vista: - Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program. This will open the Uninstall or change a program window.
- Select Presentation Director.
- From the Organize menu, select Layout, then select Details Pane -You will see the version information on the pane below.
- Close the Uninstall or change a program window.
Windows XP, 2000:
. d, }/ |) y c; M) t& Q8 Z- Click Start, then click Control Panel. (Windows 2000: Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel.)
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click Message Center, then click Change/Remove (or Add/Remove).
- Click Click here for support information. The version information will be displayed.
